I run WinXP SP2 on several computers. FavoriteSync has asked me a couple of timer (per computer) if I want to upgrade the program to the latest version. I have always answered "yes". The upgrades have worked, but just when FavoriteSync is about to reload the new version, I get a program error (in ud.exe). Then I have to end it manually, restart FavoriteSync and everyting is fine again.
FavoriteSync doesnât sync on Windows XP the favorites I attached. I cannot explain why but FavoriteSync always asks me if I want to delete them or not. I know this is not a very serious bug to consider but this is just to let you know.
When the Sync options are set to Merge together it appears that only the Server favourites are saved if the server list is empty⦠i.e. the Local favourites are wiped.
I have found that it just quits on one of my PCs. After a while the icon just disappears from the taskbar and the program is not longer running. I am running Windows XP service pack 2 and my PC is relatively clean of a lot of startup applications. I was wondering if it has to do with my particular favorite list.
At work, there is an internet gateway password required, which cannot be saved in IE due to our corporate IT department having closed off IE password saving.
